Charlie Mulgrew, the third choice left back at Wolves, has moved on to join Aberdeen for an undisclosed fee.

Little was known about Mulgrew before he came through the ranks at Celtic, though rumours of him being an ice warrior from the late 1800's, landing in the 21st century through some time portal were later proved to be false.

Flight - power of

His rise through the ranks at Celtic contained a spell on loan at Dundee United, where he did not gain the power to fly, nor did he develop x-ray vision, though as neither of these events were expected it was not a loss to anyone involved.

He did become noteworthy enough to join Wolves in 2006, but after being injured and unable to break into the first team, he went out on loan again to Southend, where once again he gained NO superpowers, nor did he manage to break the space-time continuum and return to a previous, more ice-filled existence.

He has now moved on north of the border once more, after making only nine appearances for Wolves.

*Anything not entirely factually accurate in this piece is mostly down to a mix of boredom, lack of facts about the player and also too much coverage from other sites.

But you can bet none of them have explored any theories about time travel, so make sure you keep bookmarked.
