Well, here it is. The one that is marked in every Geordie's dictionary on the releasing of the fixtures. Of course, I'm talking about Sundelrand away!

The 147th Tyne-wear derby is now a complete sell-out - although a week ago the mackems were still attempting to flog unsold family tickets and as late as Thursday, their own corporate clients were offered the chance to buy " a limited amount of standard tickets" for Sunday.

It's now emerged that United will wear their lime third kit - with our usual home kit deemed inappropriate because of a clash with the black shirt and socks of the mackems.

for those who have booked bus tickets via NUFC, those tickets indicate that boarding is from 11am and departure will be at 11.30am prompt.

However, the latest police advice is that the buses will now leave "as close to 11am as possible" implying that you could be left behind if turning up at 11.29.....

Away end turnstiles open at 11.30am, kick-off is 1.30pm.

Newcastle fans will be housed in the upper sections of the North Stand - that's the opposite end of the ground to the one we've occupied for the previous nine derby meetings at this venue.

Those travelling by Metro continue to arrive and depart from St.Peters station, with special services leaving Central at 12.16 and 12.23.

A police escort from St.Peters to the North Stand will be provided and the planned route will see fans walk across a cordoned off section of the main car park (between the river and West Stand) to gain access to the turnstiles.

Anyone using their own transport should be aware that they'll be unable to access the away turnstiles if they approach from the east side of the ground.

Ryan Taylor, Dan Gosling and Haris Vuckic will definitely miss out, but Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini and Tim Krul could return.

News on the fitness of Shane Ferguson is awaited after he withdrew from the Northern Ireland squad with a hip problem. Yohan Cabaye played the full game for France against Spain on Tuesday to confirm his recovery after recent reported stomach problems.

Titus Bramble is doubtful and Lee Cattermole is suspended, though not by his knackers from a tall building, unfortunately...

James McClean and Phil Bardsley are expected to be included in the squad after recovering from injuries.

In our last ten at the SOS, we have:

Won 5
Drawn 4
Lost 1

Howay the lads!
