Sweden v England

Roy Hodgson's England side landed in Ukraine on Thursday to face Sweden on Firday in Kiev. The Olympic Stadium is the venue for this fixture, with a capacity of 70,050. Ukraine's national stadium is the tournament's biggest venue, after just having a spectacular makeover. Kiev stands on the banks of the Dnieper River, and is Ukraines capital and largest city.
Ex-Toon favourite Andy Carroll is expected to start upfront with Danny Welbeck. This is a little suprising in my opinion. It is nothing personal against the Liverpool man, in fact, his services could be vital to England in this tournament. Although many have been calling for much more af an attacking threat, I do not believe that this is the right way.
Personally, I would play with the same team that started against France, but with a different formation. Instead of playing Hodgson's 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2, I would go for a 4-3-3 formation. However, this is just a personal opinion and if we win I will have nothing to complain about!
We must play Sweden much further up the park than we did with France, and I am sure that we will do this. Swedes were absolutely awful in their 2-1 opening-game defeat against Ukraine. As a result of this, Sweden need a result to progress any further in the tournament.
I am certainly looking forward to this fixture, as it promises to be a mout-watering game, and I hope that all of you enjoy it too!
