Chelsea v Newcastle (7:45)

2nd May

Referee - Mark halsey

United's rearranged fixture against Chelsea sees tham travel down to Stamford Bridge for a crucial game this Wednesday evening. Newcastle have sold all of their allocated tickets for this fixture.

Peter Lovenkrands, Steven Taylor and Haris Vuckic all remain on the treatment table and aren't anticipated to make a return this season.
Midfield trio Danny Guthrie, Gabriel Obertan and Sylvain Marveaux are all available following injury.

Gary Cahill and David Luiz are both out injured but Branislav Ivanovic is available after suspension.

Ahead of our visit to london on Wednesday, Roberto Di Matteo's come into this game on the back of a 6-1 thrashing of QPR. Of course, Alan Pardew's side come into this game on the back of a 4-0 defeat to Wigan. Hopefully the team can bounce back against an in-form Chelsea side.

Chelsea do have the FA Cup final against liverpool to think about, so the squad is likely to rotate to keep players fit for their upcoming fixtures.

In the last 10 at Stamford bridge, Newcastle have:

Won 1

Drawn 2

Lost 7
