8 games to go, 8 games between safety and relegation, which way will it go?

So it’s time to stand up and be counted, the players, management, board room, fans and even the tea lady if she reads this.

We as fans have been loyal to the club for many a year but the differences we have with management, players and chairmen need to be left to one side for the remainder of the season.

So we have to get behind OUR team and back them until the end of the season.

Then at the season’s end, we can bring our issues to the forefront and put our point across in the correct way. Back the shirt not criticise the individual in it.

The players need to play for the shirt, for the club, for us the fans. Lets see you give your all between now and the end of the season.

Play with your heads held high, show everyone you are committed to the cause. Actions speak louder than words. Hopefully we'll score a few goals and some badge kissing won't go a miss.

The management team have to be working morning, noon and night on preparing the players for the fight ahead. Studying the opposition (read the Shawcross Enigma), prepare the game plan, this list can go on.

When you interact with the media, show the fans more passion, show the watching world we are up for this fight and we will succeed. We have been too mundane on this aspect. Come on Gents, show us your passion.

The Chairman and Chief Executive have publicly backed the Manager so let’s get on with it. Criticising Steve Gibson isn’t the solution to this predicament. Without him we would not have this club we love.

So come on one and all, stand up to be counted. WE HAVE TO FIGHT TOGETHER. The pride of the town and its people is at stake.

We deserve to be a Premier League club for our fans alone, but the performances on the pitch of late haven’t warranted this.

Bolton away on Saturday, we’ve only beat them once in the past six meetings, two in seven sounds much better. Three points all the way.

Positive Mental Attitude.

Oh and if the tea lady has read this, keep up the good work.
