Boro go head to head with Millwall tomorrow and the prize for Boro at least is a place in the play offs. If Millwall should do the double over us they would have one foot in the play offs themselves. So much at stake. We had to record a podcast for the occasion and also mark the tenth and final fanzine of the season. On sale tomorrow around the Riverside.

On the fanzine podcast we also talk to Andy Comfort, no not that one. A ndy is a presenter on BBC radio Humberside but also an Ipswich fan, for his considerable sins. Looking one step ahead we asked Andy about the mood in Suffolk ahead of our final away game encounter with the Tractor Boys, a week on Sunday. And we find out why they will all be going retro and looking back to 1978.

There is a tribute in the fanzine and on the podcast to former Boro Supporters Club Secretary Simon Bolton, currently facing up to major surgery. We are all behind you Simon and look forward to you making a Riverside return next season.

We are also donning silly hats today in support of Yaffa Phillips. Yaffa is a native New Yorker who is proud to call Teesside her home. She is a bit of a technical brain box, brilliant at bringing communities together on and off line. You might know her from her from place at the front of just about any gig, poetry recital ortheatre event. She kick started Love Middlesbrough, signed up Boro into the world of social media and more than mostly anyone else I can think of plugged Middlesbrough into the world wide everything. She also likes to walk around wearing silly hats and putting a smile on everyone’s face. You can so often see her hanging out in cafes and coffee shops and always, always looking at new ways to promote them. Firstly that means tucking into the cakes. Something she is encouraging us all to do today.

We are all getting behind Yaffa in her fight against cancer.
