Remember him? Just to get away from matters off the pitch for a moment, I can't remember the last appearance this guy made, certainly not this season. Last I heard he'd gone to St George's Park for rehab, but that feels like forever ago.

Per the 'Match Information' section of the Silkmen Archives website, his last appearance was in the 3-2 win over Exeter City on 09-Apr, being replaced by MWH in the 82nd minute.

I'm pretty sure that he was part of the away iFollow commentary teams for at least one match, I don't recall which one. Anybody remember which one? I can go to the archive--I think he discussed the state of his injury.

Found it, Grimsby (a) 21 September.

For what it's worth now, asked when he thought he'd be back, he said that he had started running outside and hoped to be back training in the next week or week after, and playing in October. Nothing on the specific injury.

Pearson also noted that DM put more focus on how Macc should play, shape, etc. when he came in. That seemed to be in contrast to Sol where the emphasis was on how the opposition played.

He played in some of this year's pre-season friendlies including Congleton and Leek:

Sorry silkmen_away - didn't spot your update on Grimsby(a) until after I'd posted this.

Would you say he was "injury prone" ? and he was one of the first players to accept terms for season 19/20.
