Liverpool head to St Andrews later today looking to put the Benfica disapointment of midweek behind them and keep the pressure on Manchester City and Tottenham for the final Champions League spot.

Rafael Benitez's main concern is at the back with Martin Kelly joining Fabio Aurelio and Martin Skrtel on the sidelines.

Alberto Aquilani will also miss out in the middle with an ankle problem that has the Reds medical staff fearing for his season.
Rafa Benitez has never tasted Premiership success over Birmingham and needed Steven Gerrard's 72nd minute penalty to hold on to a draw in the fixture last season.
Birmingham have no new injury worries and should field an unchanged side after their last minute draw with Arsenal.
