Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will continue to be absent from the Reds' side as Rafael Benitez leads his side against Fulham in an important Premiership encounter tomorrow- though Fernando Torres and Jose Reina should both start.

The England midfielder is still suffering from a troublesome groin problem, and Benitez has confirmed the club are not sure when he will be fit again.

After the 2-0 defeat of Manchester United the Reds are looking to build on results in the league.

However there is also a crucial Champions League game in midweek that will weigh heavily on the manager's mind.

After playing the final 15 minutes of the cup defeat to Arsenal Alberto Aquilani was thought to be in line for a debut- however he misses out through a virus.

Glen Johnson is also an absentee, but otherwise Benitez has a fully fit squad.

Simon Davies and Andy Johnson ar ruled out for the hosts, whilst Paul Konchesky faces a late fitness test.

Bobby Zamora may start up front and there should be another reunion with Liverpool for former midfielder Danny Murphy.
