Liverpool host Aston Villa at Anfield tomorrow looknig to retain momentum from the 4-0 victory over Stoke City and boost themselves up the Premiership table.

The table makes grim reading at present, not least because Liverpool are 10th, but at this early stage Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all occupy positions in the top four.

New signing Sotirios Kyrgiakos could come straight into the side and replace youngster Daniel Ayala as Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel continue to be absent through injury.

Nabil El Zhar, Fabio Aurelio and Alberto Aquilani are all out so otherwise the side should be unchanged.

The visitors are also set to make defensive changes as Luke Young is on compassionate leave and Curtis Davies faces a late fitness test.
