Liverpool Football Club are mourning the loss of English football legend Sir Bobby Robson, who died this morning aged 76.

The club have confirmed a book of condolences will be open at the club store in Liverpool city centre.


Reds manager Rafael Benitez also lead the tributes to theformer national team manager, saying on the club's official website: "The death of Sir Bobby is a sad loss to football.

"His record in many different countries was testament to his talents as an outstanding manager and he clearly never lost his tremendous passion and enthusiasm for the game- he will be sorely missed by all of us," said Benitez.
