First and foremost tell me a bit about yourself; including how long you've been a Leicester fan and why.

Ok, I'm 45 years old with an absolutely gorgeous wife who I was fortunate to meet when I was just 17. I could scour the earth and I wouldn't find a better one if I tried. We are blessed with 2 boys who are 18 and 16 now. The youngest one of the two is a very talented footballer playing for Wellingborough Towns under 18's for the last 2 seasons. He has also been with several professional clubs in his younger days including Leicester City. Unfortunately for him his height let him down in those days, however he is now over 6ft and has been offered a 4 year scholarship in America when he is 18.

I've been a Leicester fan since I was 12 years old. Before that I used to support my local side Northampton Town (yes Cobblers). I stood in the Hotel End on a dark, cold, and wet Wednesday night with a crowd of something under 1000 watching a team of players showing up for the money. That was it, Saturday came and I jumped on a bus to Leicester. I Stood in the Kop, the atmosphere was amazing. That was it I never looked back and never will. I had found something that I loved and nothing could ever take that away from me.

Looking to the past first of all, what have been your most memorable moments as a Leicester fan.

The most memorable time being a Leicester fan for me was in 2000 when I took my boys to League Cup Final at the proper Wembley. We beat Tranmere 2-1 with Matty Elliott scoring the winner in the 80th minute. That was the last time the League Cup (Worthington Cup in those days) was contested at the home of football. The Martin O'Neil days were something else, winning the League Cup on 2 occasions, runners up once and a couple of outings in the UEFA Cup.

What have been the moments you would most like to forget in your time supporting Leicester

When Martin O'Neil left us.

And your most memorable

Getting on the bus to come home after the first game I went to. Couldn't wait until the next game, what an experience for a young 12 year old.

What are the main strength and weaknesses in the Leicester side.

Matty Fryatt, scoring goals for fun. Milan Maderic, seems to have much to much involvement in the day to day running of the club.

Will your manager be splashing any cash in January to boost your squad

I don't see us spending any money in the January sales to be honest. Possibly 1 or 2 players on loan 'till the end of the season when we will know what our future is, then we must cut our cloth accordingly.

Which club would you rather beat on any given day and why?

Leeds, and you know why. But it did hurt watching us under perform against Cobblers.

Who are the best and worst sides you have come up against this season?

Northampton came and played football in some difficult conditions and went away with a point so I've got to say Cobblers. 2 Words, Peterbororough, shocking.

Edit - surely that is 3 words Micky?

What is your opinion on Gary Mac, Leeds United and it's supporters

Gary Mac is a Leicester fan. ( So is Larry Grayson). Leeds United will always be a little special to me as my brother has been a Leeds fan for most of his life. With regards to the supporters, well I think they are great. Loyal, loud and as we've seen over the last couple of seasons, very supportive. The others that just want to cause trouble, are not, any never will be in my opinion supporters.

Edit - shut that door Micky you wrong 'un.

I personally hate these new sterile, soulless footy grounds. What's your opinion of the Crisp Bowl for a football stadium?

I hate the Walkers, my soul is still at Filbert Street and always will be. I also hate the new Wembley. This may be something to do with standing up, that's where my main memories of football stadiums are. I used to watch Leicester home and away, week in, week out, and  have been to some fantastic grounds for atmosphere. Sadly these are few and far between nowadays.

Finally give us a quick prediction for the game

Well I'm going for a good old fashioned 3-2 to Leicester. However, my young lad wants to register his 2-1 Leicester prediction as well.
