Bahrain Grand Prix

I watched the race on sunday and to be honest saw nothing other than a perfect start to the new season. I didn't think the entertainment was poor as there was a clear fight for the lead and the other top eight positions. That looks set to intensify for Melbourne. Ferrari, Mclaren, Red Bull and Mercedes all appear fast and it will be interesting to see what happens on a more random circuit in Albert Park. The rule changes need to be given time, however the points system has already confused me, I reckon that should have stayed the same. Ferrari are the team to beat this year but I wouldn't say they are as dominant a force as the Bahrain result suggested. Alonso drove a perfect debut and he is surely the title favourite. Massa was fantastic on his return to the XXXXXXpit and for the first time had a great season opener. The others will have to catch up quickly if we are to see a dream eight-way battle for the title.
