All the talk was about whether we had the strikers, I thought Sturridge was excellent.

I wonder which old boys will get back in. They definately need a few I think.

richards was woeful,he isn,t disciplined, intelligent enough or able to read the game at international level, missed a leader at the back in JT and jagielka is better then cahill, so when fit he would play over cahill for me. baines appeared to do o.k.

were was the midfield for holland's 1st goal??

wilshire parker and gerrard the 3 in mid if there all fit with milner coming in if not. XXXXXX barry off,

sturridge walcott young all fight it out to partner rooney or for 1st 2 games welback, who needed a little more support at times.

Watched the first goal back, it should have been defended but for a mis-communication between Cahill and Smalling, both ended up tracking the runner and Robben got a free path to shoot. Fair point though that Robben should have been tracked from Midfield.

I liked Sturridge. Welbeck worked hard but it's not his time yet.

I'd have Terry, Jagielka, Lescott or Ferdinand ahead of Cahill.

Does Phil Jones play right-back usually? I thought he was either centre-mid or centre-half. That said, you're talking about a manager who played David James up-front.

Reading the news and chatting about the match,I have come to the conclusion that there are a lot of negative reports. What we must remember is that it was a friendly against the world cup finalists and im so glad that we have moved on from the old school.Even Gerrard (the thug) was subbed. keep the youngsters in with just a mix of seniors namely Rooney and Didnt Richards play well? highly delighted with the game
