I sincerely hope that the firm currently strolling around on the Norcross Roundabout don't win the contract!

They've been a shambles Bada. Should have been finished at the end of March, now going to be June. But it's not surprising as it's Highways England. The same organisation who gave us smart motorways, which to date have killed 38 people. Dickheads.

Rusty, it angers me every time I drive through (twice daily) to see very little graft being undertaken.

The feckers aren't even observing the 2m social distancing rule.

How come we can build a hospital in a few weeks but a roundabout seems like building the channel tunnel, too many people in made up jobs

Maybe we should be a military state and let the Army get on with it?

If we had an army / military of any significance it wouldn't be a bad shout.

We didn't 'build' a hospital in a few weeks. We fitted out an existing building. BIG difference.

You are quite correct MK but even so, the logistics of converting a large exhibition centre into a 5000 bed hospital is a fantastic achievement which puts to shame the jobbing contractors on projects such as the Norcross roundabout!

I totally agree and a wonderful effort. But it is not building a hospital from scratch.

Dont anticipate any improvement for Fleetwood traffic. Dual carriageway to the River Wyre Hotel and then the usual plod with a dirty great big roundabout thrown in to slow us down at Norcross. A Poulton Bypass in all but name.
