Now the dust has settled on another season, it's time to look ahead to 2019/20 and under new ownership how Blackpool FC are shaping up for that new season. Throughout the summer on AVFTT, we'll keep you updated on all the arrivals at the seaside, profile the players and bring news of any contract renewals or extensions.
26.07.19 James Husband signs 12 month loan deal
With speculation surrounding Marc Bola, Simon Grayson moved to bring in left back James Husband from Norwich on as 12 month loan. The 25 year old had previously played for Doncaster, Middlesborough, Fulham and Doncaster and the previous season had been at Fleetwood Town where he featured 35 times. He signed a one year loan deal.
03.07.19 Ryan Hardie signs two year deal
Simon Grayson finally made his first signing just over a week after landing the job although ironically it was a Terry McPhillips target who he signed. The former Scotland Under 21 international striker Ryan Hardie joined Blackpool having left his boyhood club Rangers. The player had been on loan at Raith Rovers, St Mirren and Livingston before hooking up with former team mate Jordan Thompson at 'Pool. Hardie signs a two year deal with a one year option.
Sullay Kaikai become Terry McPhillips 5th signing of the summer as he made his move for the winger who started his career at Crystal Palace where he won their Young Player of the year award. He went on to make loan moves to Brentford and Shrewsbury where he picked up a Sky Bet Player of the month award. He'd recently been at the Dutch side Eridivisie. The 23 year old joins on a two year deal.
21.06.19 Ben Tollitt signs two year deal
Hot on the heels of winger Jamie Devitt, in came Ben Tollitt. He completed a move on a two year deal having been at Tranmere in the early part of his career. Frustrated by injury at Prenton Park, he evenually found his form again on loan at Wrexham where he scored 4 times in 13 games. Having started his career at Everton, he'll look to make the move up to Blackpool.
20.06.19 Jamie Devitt signs two year deal
Terry McPhillips third new signing of the summer was Jamie Devitt from Carlisle United. The highly rated attacking midfielder scored 22 goals in 130 games for the Cumbrians and was their Player of the Season for the previous two seasons. He started his career at Hull and also played at Morecambe. The 28 year old signs a two year deal.
14.06.19 Ryan Edwards signs two year deal
Ryan Edwards became McPhillips second signing of the summer the day after Simon Sadler was announced as the new Owner of Blackpool FC. Ryan, 25, joined from Plymouth where he made 68 appearances where he scored 9 goals including a goal in the 2-2 draw at Blackpool.
13.06.19 Nathan Shaw signs two year deal
The 18 year old youth team player signed his first professional contract with the club after a succesful couple of years with the youngsters. He hit double figures for goals and assists in the 2018/19 season was was the Youth player of the year. The winger appeared on the subs bench a few times for the first team at the end of the previous season.
29.05.19 Nathan Delfouenso signs two year deal
The clubs longest serving player, having arrived at Bloomfield Road in 2012 and played in over 200 games, it was little surprise that Nathan Delfouenso signed a new two year deal at the club. The 28 year old scored seven times in the previous campaign and was part of the squad that was promoted back to League One in 2017.
Having scored twice against Blackpool in the previous season's FA Cup, Yussuf came on to the club's radar and after a season where he scored 21 goals in the National League, the Seasiders moved to bring in the striker. The 27 year old signed a two year contract with the club, which will become his first league side. Yussuf also plays for the Tanzania National Squad.
17.05.19 Myles Boney signs two year deal
The 21 year old who has been at the club for 5 years, made just two appearances for Blackpool in 2018/19 whilst appearing numerous times on the bench. He made his debut for Blackpool in 2015 and has been out on loan to Nantwich Town and Solihull Moors. With Mark Howard and Christoffer Mafoumbi still under contract, Boney is expected to remain third choice keeper.
