Villa go to Blackburn on Saturday looking for a seventh straight win – and with a good Ewood Park record in recent times.

They have won 4-1 and 2-0 there in the past couple of seasons and could have had many more.

Blackburn are a tough side to play against but over the years have gradually got weaker as economic reality and the death of Jack Walker has taken its toll.

So can we really predict what will happen tomorrow ? Are we due for a slip up or are we due to give a team a through going over ?

Can you even guess what team MON may play? For certain, Steve Sidwell is out, but will Cuellar play at right-back? Probably.

Will Nigel Reo-Coker make the team instead of Sidwell or Fabian Delph or will John Carew be dropped for a 4-5-1 and Delph and NRC both in midfield? Questions, questions.

The key man for me will be Gabby, for Rovers lack pace in the central defence and in his current form he can terrorise them if the service is right.

I have no fears that at the back Richard Dunne and James Collins can cope with the threat of Jason Roberts.

If I do have a fear it’s that this game could be a bore draw, but I would hope for that seventh win.
