Aston Villa have completed plans for their pre-season build-up, which will be centred around their participation in the Peace Cup.

Villa will also play three lower-league clubs away from home, and have a prestige home friendly against Italian side Fiorentina before the season begins a week later.

That’s followed by a trip to Colchester of League One three days later, on Tuesday, July 21, before the trip to Andalucia for two Peace Cup games.

These see Martin O’Neill’s men face Malaga on Saturday, July 25, and Atlante on Wednesday, July 29.

Villa then go to Conference premier side Oxford on Tuesday, August 4, and wrap up their friendlies at home to Fiorentina on Saturday, August 8.

The first Premier League match is the following weekend.
