Sam Vokes is keen on a permanent return to either Burnley or Brighton & Hove Albion, the Lancashire Telegraph today reports.

He spent a large part of last season on loan at Turf Moor and then the Amex Stadium after struggling to impose himself at Molineux, and is believed to be open to working with his former Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, who took him to the Clarets after jumping ship from Dean Court- Howe himself has today said that he is in the market for a striker to compliment his existing complement of attackers following Jay Rodriguez's departure for Southampton.

“I think I would want four, and I want to try and bring someone in who will complement the other three and someone who will fit in with the attributes they have. I am confident we can do that.” he stated.
