Stale Solbakken's former FC Copenhagen assistant manager Johan Lange has been handed a similar role with Wolves, the club's official website today reports.
A statement from Copenhagen sporting director Carsten Jensen said "Johan has received an offer to continue his development as a coach somewhere else, and FC Copenhagen will not stand in the way of his desire to pursue this option. On behalf of FC Copenhagen, we offer our great thanks to Johan for his efforts here, and good luck in the future.".
Solbakken himself welcomed him to Molineux by adding "When I knew that we would be able to bring Johan in he was the coach I wanted to come and work with me at Wolves. I took him under my wing at Copenhagen and he was the second assistant I worked with at the club. He is the youngest coach ever to achieve the highest coaching qualification in Denmark and he has many different qualities to offer. He can work with the players on the training ground, but can also be looking at players and the opposition - he has a very good eye for football. He will be there with Terry ( Connor) to assist me and I am looking forward to working with him again."
