www.wolvesnews.co.uk has today put out an urgent bulletin requesting contributors. Editor ' The Gaffer' said in a statement ' Wolvesnews is an independent unofficial Wolves supporters website run mostly by myself (The Gaffer). It has become extremely difficult to rival the national multi team sites and consequently I need support to move this site forward. We have been in existence for several years but due to lack of time/support the site has been neglected particularly over the past 18 months or so. It is my intention, however, to re vitalise Wolvesnews and consequently I am looking to put together a Wolvesnews Team. I will need writers for the new season, which will be unpaid posts, but this may eventually change, see info below. The posts would be suitable for those with a genuine interest and ability in writing/reporting and most importantly a knowledge, and indeed an affiliation, for Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
There is a new Rumour Mill page onsite which is doing very well and a forum, http://wolvesnews.freeforums.org, that, alas, is now defunct. The forum may be a project for somebody out there with a knowledge of free forums or indeed a willingness to learn, to revive its fortunes - please let us know if this is you! I am also looking for a way to generate additional income which would eventually be shared with the prospective team members, and any suggestions in that area would be more than welcome.
