Press Release
Sunday League Fansonline is now up and running, and plans to link together the thousands upon thousands of amateur footballers all turning out on Sunday morning, who turn up in all weathers, all around the country.
A huge club database of all teams who play the game on a Sunday is currently underway, and any club that can see their respective league on the website, and who want to have their website and club known nationwide, are encouraged to visit the site and log their details in.
There will be features coming soon, such as awards for best countrywide team performances and best club websites amongst other weekly fun and games.
Fansonline is a new network linking sports fans from around the UK and beyond, and has plans to expand further over the coming months, with Sunday League football one it\\\'s new website ventures.
Creator and publisher of the Sunday League site is Michael Norwood who explains his reasons for wanting a huge Sunday League database of leagues and clubs \\\"I am heavily involved with a Sunday League side, and it was during the summer, I wanted to try and get our team out playing friendlies for the new season, but there simply wasn\\\'t a place on the internet for me to find not just local football teams, but also teams from other counties nearby. There wasn\\\'t one single website where I could post a message advertising that our team were available for friendlies, which is where I had the idea of having a national Sunday League website for everyone around the UK to come and promote their club.\\\"
