| Ok i can understand that if Portakabin where to purchase the club and pass the FaPPT but if the trust were successful then it would be a totall disgrace. Point being it was Chainrai and his cronies who welched on the last CVA,non payment to small or secured creditors etc. Then again i am talking about the FL who allowed Wimbledon to move to Milton Keynes,CNUTS. | |

| The same FL who allowed Wimbledon to move to MK and have always been happy with Grimsby playing in Cleethorpes....but when Rotherham moved 3 miles down the road to play at Don Valley, Sheffield, the same FL imposed a deadline for their return to Rotherham. EDIT - I just googled it - its 4 miles exactly. | |

| FAF @ Mush/ Lard. I remember a Sunday afternoon a few months back when the usual 'wise' scummers turned up with this all knowing points deduction crap and I proved there's no precedent for a points deduction for either the number of administrations or not fulfilling a previous CVA. The FL rules are not clear on either and this is uncharted territory. So no one knows how the FL would play this. The scummer tried citing Rotherham, but it was clear they got extra points deducted for not having a CVA in place by the start of the season. All the other cited club cases (Luton, Bournemouth and Leeds) didn't have the same scenario as PFC (it only takes a bit of Googling to confirm all this). As it is, it's always been known that the FL have open discretion on points deductions but they will not assess this until the picture is clear. I'm actually glad they are still in the picture on this, as it shows with the golden share and the threat to withhold it, that they are not taking kindly to how Portpin have manipulated the system and could benefit whilst keeping their entire debt. If Portpin did take over then I'd have no issue in whatever punishment the FL threw at a Portpin run enterprise although you'd hope they finally find the balls to withhold the golden share and force the Trust through. If the Trust gain control I think it would be terrible PR and quite unjust to inflict further punishment on the fans as they'd have done so much to rid a member club of the FL of the problems the FL have let happen on their watch to our club. As it is, today's story in The News is a something of nothing story, the FL always have the discretion to punish teams, it's in their rules, whether they will or not is a totally different story and at this stage is all ifs, buts and maybe's. We have bigger issues to worry about in the meantime than this column inch filling story. | |

| Riddle you seem a half decent skate, but like most of the others you just don't get it. Terrible PR if the trust win and they get a points deduction. WTF??? It is irrelevant who takes over, it is for the sins of the past, it is to make sure you don't do it again and to serve as a warning to others. It is for what you have done in the past, so unless you want to give up your FA cup win, then the trust have no more moral highground than portpin. And in any case, if the trust do take over, then a penality and relegation would be a kind thing to do as it will help get your costs down even further. You want the fruits of your cheating, but you don't want the medicine - You can't have both. As for a non article - I think not. That was a clear message of preparation. Make it a decent one - Minus 25 | |

| Sadly it's YOU that doesn't 'get it' my little Mushy pea. Life's too short to be spending time on the internet trying to spout ill informed crap to people just because they were lucky enough not to be born in a second rate provincial town like scumpton but instead were incredibly lucky to be born in a first rate Portsmouth with it's proud - if somewhat anarchic - history, it's wonderful natural features and it's tough but loyal people.Do I care what you have to say on the subject of points deductions by a Football League who don't know themselves what they will and won't dish out? Nah of course not. Why would I take any notice of you? No one else does, that's why you have to come on here looking to sound informed (and failing). ![]() | |
