Where did I say that ? What I did say was that every two years all these deluded caaantsss go crazy about Enngeeerlaaands chances. They go off & buy up a shed load of Chinese/Indian manufactured Enggerrrland tat when anyone with half a brain can see we havn't done anything of note in tournaments for years. Why the XXXXXX do they bother ? The performance tonight was quite frankly embarrassing - 36% ball possessin against Eyeties 64%, around 285 completed passes against Eyeties 800+, 9 attempts on goal against Eyeties 25+. We deserved what we got sfa, and if it wasn't for a huge slice of luck in the group games we wouldn't have even got this far.

I want Engaland to do well - but I am realistic unlike those deluded Caaantsss !! .....and for your information Andy Pandy I have been giving it the big one about how useless Engerrlland would perform ever since the start of the tournament. So poke that one up yer 'arris ya pompous perrrickkk !!!

I know Loyal and I must say his excessive spending on shirts and flags does make the mind boggle. I even saw him spend the shopping money on the new England shirts (home, away and 3rd kit)!! He is absolutely mental about England and Pompey. Got to feel for him though as he now has to paint over that flag of St George covering the front and back of his house! Mind you, he is 'Loyal' and the giants flags he just bought can still be used for the World Cup.

This just doesn't hurt. In the past, England have deserved to get a result from games (Germany 90/96, Argentina 98, Portugal 04/06) but tonight, we deserved nothing, and got nothing. Losing is disappointing, as always, and losing on penalties is a bad way to go out, but we got what we deserved. Roy's done well to get us through the group, now we just need to hope some youngsters push on over the next few years...but there's not much out there to get me feeling optimistic.

It's called 'hope' and 'hope' is a fundamental component of supporting a team - whether that be England or Pompey. Do you carry the same attitude with your support of Pompey? Do you deride all the people who turn up with Pompey tat on? I personally find your stance irritating and would happily inject you with AIDS
