| ...I then had to watch the ITV pundits try and tell me it was a fascinating game when it wasn't, it was dull, pedestrian and more of a procession that a Jubilee river pageant. The racism at this tournament has been terrible (admittedly it's mostly been happening in my house when Mark Bright's been co-commentator on the Beeb) but given the England fans have been having a good time and disappointing the awaiting media who want to report on 'trouble', the real shameful scenes of this tournament have been the pundits. Roy Keene's instability was fun for a few days but you now look at him and think "how long until he's sectioned?" Gareth Southgate is about as welcome as a wet fart in the bath and the usually dependable Beeb seem to be half heartedly coasting as they've had to watch from Salford and not get the usual all expenses paid jolly abroad. What the Beeb or ITV really need to do is get real people as pundits who will tell it like it is and I think I've found just the man... ![]() Link: ...if only the commentators were this honest... | |

| By a country mile that was the most boring game of the tournament so far. here's hoping the Germans give the Spanish a good pasting in the final. | |

| I thought it was just me that found Spains tippy tappy football a tad dull. Technically brilliant yes, but entertaining nah. Just hope someone has a go at them but it seems as though most teams are beaten before they get on the pitch. I wonder how Blanc will talk about the parking the bus tactics that he criticised England for, with his spin he is made to follow Harry at spuds. | |

| But it takes 2 teams to make a match of it, I thought that France tactics were a tad negative throughout and believe that if they'd played with 2 out and out strikers from the start then that would have given the Spanish more to think about. Spain did enough to win which is what it's all about. | |
