I expected england to get out the group, I also expected that if england actually wanted to try and do well in the knock out stages we'd need to avoid spain by winning the group. Something that has been a massive failing in most of the major finals in the last 10 years. I now expect us to beat a average italian team, having beaten two very aveage teams, and drawing with average french team. Just hope Woy has the balls to pull off rooney sooner than he did on tuesday coz apart from the tap in he was shocking, far worse than milner whos getting all the stick ffs. If we get to the semi's then we've had a good go and done well, but currently overachieved, WALOB Let the england XXXXXXfest start only if we beat italy ffs

I wouldn't call Italy an avegage team. Technically they are far better than England. Better in possesion and movement off the ball, and a very organised at the back. This game will be won in the midfield. So far ours has done very well, but Parker and Gerrard vs Pirlo and De rossi, will be very intersting. Either way, i'm happy with whoever wins. I want England to win but i've got moen yon Italy to win the whole thing.

I never understand why Rooney gets so much stick.The English desease i suppose... when someone gets to the top of their game ...knock em down again. I am no man utd fan ,in fact i hate the coonts but i recognise a world class player when i see one and Rooney is that.Do you not watch some of the things he does for united ffs ? Dont you have a tv in your house.? Why do you think all the pundits, press and 90% of fans want him in the team ? do you think maybe they can see things that you cant ffs.? Yes he was pretty poor the other night which is not surprising as he hasnt played for ages but he is the ONLY world class player we have when on form ffs. Spain and Germany would love to have a Rooney in their team !! As for Milner how he gets in the team in front of Walcott or Oxo is beyond me.

could be the most boring game of football ever, they'll have 10 men behind the ball, we'll have 10 men behind the ball, will the ball even leave the centre circle? Losing to italy thought wouldnt be the sucessful tournement the press etc are harpin on about, we are talkin about england here, a team of £100k+ a week players, with supposed world class players in hart, cole, terry, gerrard and the fat scouse ***, we are not scotland ffs If we have a go then fair play, but if we play the negative c we've play against france and ukraine, then they better XXXXXX win ffs.

probably because he a **** i havent liked him since his everton days. He wouldnt get in spain or germanys team ffs. When he plays as out and out striker he has sucess, when he does this drop deep c* he makes the team lose its shape and becomes a liability. His england record is pretty crap against big boys, as for not being fit, what the fat c*** be doing for the last 5 weeks, natioanl football is a lot slower than the PL ffs but being a scummer what do you know, better off sticking to horse jumping or something

Milner is not getting stick for his performance against Ukraine, he is getting stick because he has never performed in an England shirt. Don't even rate him as a decent PL player

I wouldnt say Hart and Cole are world class ffs . I stand by what i said Rooney, IMO is our only world class player. also rooney not get in the spanish team WTF so Torres is better than Rooney hey ?? bollix.
