Generous fans raised a fantastic total of £4,400 for two armed forces charities by bidding for rare Boro away shirts featuring the Royal British Legion’s poppy logo.

Tickets are fast running out for Boro’s north-east derby clash at Newcastle United this Sunday (ko 1pm) with the vast majority of Boro’s 2,757 ticket allocation already taken up.
