Boro have completed a double loan deal, with goalkeeper Paul Smith arriving from Nottingham Forest and striker Kris Boyd travelling in the opposite direction.     Both deals are for the rest of the season.   Smith, 31, arrives in the wake of an injury to Boro first-choice Jason Steele, who was substituted by 18-year-old Connor Ripley during Saturday’s 5-2 defeat at Reading.
