Any where good for a curry in Derby , going there at the weekend, if not a good traditional Italian?

Hi mate

I live in derby so this is what i can offer...

A good curry can be found at Balti international on uttoxeter new road... is cheap and you can take your own drink and there are a couple of off licences across the road. if drinking soft drinks you have to buy them there as they don't have a licence hence how they make their money. to get there its either about a fiver in a taxi from city centre or on the Trent barton mickleover bus service - both blue and red routes stop outside.

If you go for an Italian try a restaurant called antibo which is near the train station. Ok on price related to the food but is not overly expensive.

For both places book in advance as they get busy. they both have websites with phone numbers on etc.

Let us know how you find it:-)
