| A sad day for the club and anyone connected. But lets not forget, to have achevied 1 season, let alone 15 in the football league is an amazing acheviement given our budget. Today is a time to reflect and give thanks to all the people who have helped us stay in the league for a decade and a half. If one thing is true in football, its that money talks. with a major investment we could have stayed for longer but unfortunatly that hasnt been the case. However thanks to the board we are in a sound financial positon for the forseable future when we could so easily have gone out of business. i am not happy about being relegated but am looking forward to a whole new fixture list and the challenge of the conference. Keep the faith. the good times could be just around the corner....... UP THE BLUES COME ON SILKMEN! | |
