| The reason they ain't going to the World Cup is not because of Thierry Henry got away with handball, it is because they were not good enough over 2 legs. Robbie Keane, Kevin Doyle and Damien Duff all missed gilt edged chances in Paris and if anyone of them had actually been good enough to score then they would have been in the draw on Friday. Also we couldn't have a World Cup with Leon Best there it would have devalued the entire event. | |

| Agreed. Seriously embarrassing asking to be an extra (33rd) team. Have you no dignity you Irish folk? I thought you were a proud people (putting the bombing of old ladies aside). Beginning to agree with Roy Keane now - which is a bit worrying. | |

| Had they made as much song and dance about the change to the play-off draw rules then they might have some credibility, that is the biggest scandal of all. F'ck it I think we should be allowed in due to crap refereeing in Norway. | |
