"Police report no suspects in toll road closure in West Midlands after Megabus passenger seen pouring hot water into bag."

Staffordshire police led an operation to evacuate almost 50 people from a Megabus coach heading south on the M6 toll road in the West Midlands on Thursday morning. They would not comment on reports that a passenger on board was seen pouring hot water into a bag, causing others onboard to alert the driver.

A Staffordshire police spokeswoman said: "Following an initial assessment, we can confirm that no one has been injured and that there is no danger to passengers at the scene or any other travellers who were on the motorway at that time.

"We are also not treating anyone as a suspect."

Armed police evacuated 48 people from the bus, which was travelling from Preston to London. The passengers were then led some distance away to the toll plaza of the road.

A man wearing a shirt with the Baxi logo on the front has been released without charge and re-united with his pot noodle.

Nice one. I couldnt stop even if I wanted to as my lads are up for it, and my mate's little lad is obsessed, having converted to tangerine from United despite growing up in Manc and pressure from dad to follow Liverpool.

I was on the island of Inishbofin off Connemara a couple of weeks ago and at 4.30 in the morning got quizzed by a gang of Irish lads about my football allegiance. Talk about OTT. They went mental with excitement and came with all sorts of lines in thick irish accents like "EVERYBODY loves Blackpoool!" and "that goyza feckin jaynius!" (Ollie).

How times have changed.......

And the cause of the massive security alert was.....

The evacuation of a coach on the M6 toll road which caused long tailbacks on one of the country's busiest roads was a terror scare caused by the smoke vapour from an electronic cigarette, police have revealed.

I was expecting the accent to be local, so I was confused.

Not often Dubliners would venture 'back of beyond'[;)]

You funny guy. [rle]

Although, I wasn't expecting much of a read, considering you're the 'author' of another thread; titled, "Your favourite bus stop"

Seriously, what is wrong with people nowadays?

I blame Facebook and ITV

Our coach to Wembley pulled up at services near Birmingham when this very service from Priest8n to London pulled up. The passengers getting off were largely made up of Taliban types. No wonder someone sh@t themselves!
